We are pleased to announce the 7th Science Academy Machine Learning Summer School, which will be held in Istanbul between 27-29 June this year. Özyeğin University Computer Science Department organizes this summer school under the supervision of the Science Academy. The first of the "Machine Learning Summer School" series was held In 2016, and in the following years, the following institutions were successfully organized with different themes:

• New Techniques in Machine Learning and Information Processing (Computer Vision and Deep Learning) at Middle East Technical University
• Machine Learning Summer School on the Steppe (Machine Learning & Robotics) at Hacettepe University
• Machine Learning Summer School on the Bosphorus (Bioinformatics, Natural Language & Speech Processing) at Boğaziçi University
• Machine Learning Summer School in Northwest (Health Sciences, Robotics & Machine Learning in Industry) at Koç University
• Science Academy – Bilkent University Machine Learning Summer School (Back to the Basics of Artificial Intelligence) at Bilkent University
• Science Academy – Sabancı University Machine Learning Summer School (Beyond Learning and Performance in Networks) at Sabancı University

The 7th summer school of this series will be held under “New Approaches and Applications in Machine Learning” via Zoom.

The purpose of the summer school is to:

• refresh the basic knowledge required to conduct research in AI,
• provide information about the latest research developments,
• bring together industry and graduate students,
• provide interaction between thesis students and instructors who are experts in their fields.

The target audience of the summer school is for undergraduate students (preferably a senior year), graduate students, faculty members, and interested persons in industrial establishments and technoparks who are interested in research in AI.
